Our client is a reputed equity-focused investment firm that manages assets for high-net-worth and institutional clients through Portfolio Management Schemes and Alternate Investment Funds. They launched a new B2C application and we were mandated to hire the Head of Growth for leading the marketing charter and onboard users and scale them.

Approach

Our approach to hiring a Head of Growth is highly targeted, consultative, and data-driven, moving beyond traditional job postings to identify and recruit passive candidates with a rare blend of skills. The search firm first conducts a deep discovery phase to understand the wealth firm's unique value proposition, target clientele (e.g., HNI/UHNIs), existing AUM growth challenges (acquisition, retention, upselling), and regulatory environment. 

The approach was to sell the vision of the role, conducting rigorous interviews to test for both data-fluency and cultural fit (especially in a high-trust industry like wealth management), and providing compensation guidance to structure a competitive offer that closes the deal efficiently against potential counter-offers.

Outcome

We were able to onboard the growth leader who possesses the rare dual expertise in scaling growth and navigating the highly regulated financial services environment.
